Conversations with a First Grader

Another adventure in the suburban...

Baby Girl: Some girls told me that a boy likes me. (Please remember she's 7, so as my heart skipped a beat and I wanted to scream, "NO boys!")

Me: You're too young to like boys (still panicking).

Baby Girl: I know... but if he likes me HE should tell me. (How does a 7 year old get this... will she remember this in high school?)

Me: You're too young to like boys (... panic continues)

Baby Girl: (confidently) I'm not into boys... I'm into hair, horses and bling!


Me: Smile, chuckle and again remember another reason why I adore this first grader :)

REVOLUTIONARY!

After many of my friends had recommended it, I caved today and purchased the Shark at Costco. This is awesome!

- I was able to put it together by myself!
- I quickly swept/vacuumed
- Plugged in the shark and went to town.
- I did my hardwoods and then moved right to the tile -- I didn't change anything... just kept mopping.

My floors look great and they feel clean!

We were at the mountain, playing and enjoying the snow... the kids were screaming with delight with each sledding adventure down the hill... then I heard the soft sound of bells. I turned and saw these beautiful Clydesdale horses pulling the carriage... it was simple and magical.
