My baby is almost 5! It is always hard for me to believe that my kids are another year older. Her birthday is next week, but we were able to have a party for her and a few friends while the big boys were away at school. It was an art party. The girls painted small, wooden jewelry boxes and added jewel flowers and princess cutouts. They also beaded bracelets with pony beads and alphabet beads. They had a great time... and it was calm. (My 8-yr-olds birthday party this spring was a nightmare.)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I can't believe our girls are 5. It shocks me to the core. We were just discussing with Buttercup what kind of party she wants - oh there are sooooo many choices and she has been talking about it since Jammin' had his party. It's been a loooooong summer!
I have to tell you - Baby Girl looks so grown up.
